The poem below is composed by myself. It is based on my school life.
Enjoy :D
I look around,
In the field, as it seemed so round.
Soon the bell was angrily sound,
I feel the mood as I went back to class.
I feel nervous to desire for pass.
Back in the classroom,
wondering why my class felt so gloom.
Excitement should be the spirit,
Together our determination makes end meet.
The teacher walked in, starting to teach,
Raising up questions, where my mind can't reach.
I hope for a day in school,
where I can find more motivational tools.
After I survived in the past,
I realised I ain't the last.
One year is over,
The results are out.
Just then I received a four-leaf clover, from the one I never expected
Giving me hope, killing the anxiety stout.

About helping others. By ME :D
Give what you can
Stretch out your helping hand
Feel the pain of others
Help them in a way, give your druthers
Helping others is a joy
When you know that your efforts are not coy
They would sometimes not know you had the right attitude
No, helping is not a talent
It's an 'everyone-has' ability
Volunteering acts in gallant
The help one gives is infinity
Your time and love is sure appreciated
For helping the highly disabled
Do it with your heart
Feel their pain with your soul
Always play a part
And you will mend a broken hole
This message is to enlighten
Strengthen and Lengthen
Strengthen the weak
Lengthen the happiness
Together we create a loving atmosphere

Jingrong :D
Hey! This is Jingrong's Language Arts Blog. I am turning 13 this November, currently in studying in Hwa Chong Institution. Stress is a little high, but still manageable for an average student like me. I entered the school based on Direct-School-Admission under Academic Results from Primary 1-6. My Primary-School-Leaving-Examination marks were not high or low. Therefore, because of my lack of intelligence, I am not outstanding in my studies in Hwa Chong. I am studying real hard now, trying to cope with the others. My Consortium is Aphelion.

Home Learning, Lesson 1

Fair Fox, Full of Grief
Sailed away from the Boston shore
She wept, oh my!
For hours and hours, oh my!
Weeping! Oh her grief,
It is a leaking faucet
It is like a pouring shower,
And her ship begins to sink down.
She is sinking!
But, the wind carries her tears away,
The breeze is cool and relaxing
The Fair Fox is happy
The boat is now afloat,
And her grief gown gone
Oh my!
The five figurative language styles are: Hyperbole, Personification, Metaphors, Similes and Symbolism.
The coloured words are Hyperbole — Exaggerating words of emotions.
The underlined words are Personification — Non-Living thing does something similar to human action.
The bolded words are Metaphors — The comparison between two objects which are not alike but seem to be the same. Similar to a simile, just that a metaphor does not use 'like' or 'as'.
The italic words are Similes — Uses the word 'like' or 'as' to relate two subjects.
Symbolism — The meaning it has is used to represent something entirely different.
I chose this poem as it contains most of the Figurative Language styles, making it easy to explain and understand. I understood the meaning of Figurative Language extremely fast after watching the video Mdm Sng provided us with on Wikispaces.
